Our Media Center is much more than a library. It is a media production studio and makerspace. It is a space for students to learn and practice critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity - skills essential for success in the 21st century
In addition to traditional library and research skills, NES students have opportunities to learn about media literacy, filmmaking, coding, 3D design, podcasting, animation, photography, screen printing and logo design.
We are surrounded by media. By learning how to create media, students gain the tools to help them decode and better understand how, and why, media is constructed.
