Letter from the Principal

Dear NES Families,

I hope this email finds you well. 

On Monday, March 23rd you will be asked to assist your child with their distance learning experience.

1. I encourage you to find a designated learning space in your home for your child to " be in school" while at home.

2. I also encourage you to make a schedule for your child- like school, building in snack, lunch, recess, special ( art, music etc....)

All assignments will be uploaded and available on the NES website.

The teachers have designed reading, writing, math, social and science lessons for the week

Specialists- Art, Music, PE, Health, Spanish and Library/Media have also planned activities for your child to do.

If you have questions about the lesson or task please email your child's teacher.

We  know there will be some adjustments needed as we begin this process. Please let your teacher know of your needs.

Teachers will be letting you know what their virtual office hours and checking 

email during this time. They will be in contact with you daily. Please make sure your children log in to school designated math and reading sites and you checking with the teacher as we will be taking attendance this way.

Please be patient as we grow this process and experience.
